As per recent law, the country of origin labels are now mandatory for every business. Country of origin is the most important part of every product's packaging. Companies are now required to label and specify the country of origin based on the products they manufacture.
Country of origin labels are now seen in every sector starting from small to large products. It has now been deemed mandatory for all products by The Government of India. Few key applications are on but not limited to electronic devices, packaged food products, alcohol, consumables etc. The E-Commerce sector emerges as the widely effected and is required to comply with these regulations by August 2020.
